Young Labor Community Speak

Launched in 2009, Young Labor Community Speak  is a program that connects members with communities at the grassroots across NSW through dialogue, engagement and discussion.

The ALP has a proud history of achievements focused on promoting diversity within our community.

However, year after year issues of disharmony within the community continue to come to the forefront. The Cronulla Riots and the Lindsay Pamphlet scandal are obvious examples of this disharmony.

Young Labor does not choose to be silent on these issues. Young Labor Community Speak provides an impetus for Young Labor activists to discuss ways to instigate social change. Community Speak encourages the sharing of knowledge and engagement with other communities across the state.

Young Labor Community Speak will equip young leaders such as yourself, with the tools to understand the issues affecting different groups in your local area and to assist local community causes.
